Hier sollen USP, Kostenprognose und ein Projektplan erarbeitet werden. Warren Buffett, 2011 One of the typical challenges consultants are addressed with is to increase the profitability of their clients. Out of the different elements of the profit formula (price, volume and costs) price is actually by far the most effective profit lever. A percentage increase in price achieves a much higher profit impact than the same percentage improvement in costs or volume. Nevertheless, companies have largely focused on cost cutting measures in the past leaving large improvement potentials through power pricing unexploited. In this workshop, you will experience the impact of power pricing first hand. Using a case study and in small teams, you will gain an insight into the work of Simon-Kucher & Partners. A leading provider in the music streaming market is facing increasing competitive pressure. You now need to develop a suitable product and pricing strategy and justify it to the client’s management. Each group will be accompanied by one of our consultants and at the end you will be asked to present your results and give recommendations to the top management. You will receive the necessary tools for the case study in a compact introduction to the world of pricing, which wouldn’t be complete without an insight into the very current topic of behavioral pricing and its relevance and application in consulting. Our introduction will focus on project examples and case studies and we promise: only two theory charts and one formula!
