To start ‘from scratch’ in an executive function, get to new multiple departments within the organization, learn from your experiences and incrementally grow into a middle or higher management function. Several board members of Boels Rental did the same. At Boels Rental you are being trained on the job, to discover and to perform outside of your comfort zone. We are convinced that you only get to know an organization to its core if your personally experience what is happening on the work floor and you gain insight in what tasks your colleagues perform.
The Boels Rental Young Management Program offers you this possibility. In this course we would like to offer talents who have the potential, the drive and ambition to grow into a management position the change to lay the groundwork as a trainee. The reward: long term career perspective.
Who are we looking for?
The Boels Rental Young Management Program is a 18 month program. Boels is looking in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany to young talents with 0-2 years work experience with a Bachelor or Masters degree in Technique, Logistic, IT, Business Administration or Business Economics. Raw diamonds, who will be shaped and polished under our supervision, if they are willing to invest in themselves. They have to be flexible in their work location, who will change from time to time. The ones who successfully complete the program can have a middle management position within 3-5 years. For example become an area manager, team leader or project owner.
What do we expect from you?
You are focused on results, strong communicative skills, a commercial mind, and you have the ability to work and think in an analytical way. Also you should have a sufficient amount of people skills and are willing to further develop these. Affinity with technique is desirable, such as an entrepreneurial spirit, a hands-on attitude and a down to earth mentality.
What do we offer to you?
We offer you the freedom and space to be entrepreneurial. Making errors is no disaster, as long as you learn from them. Sitting quietly is rather no option, while you are being one challenge after another to tackle. In periods from 3 to 6 months you work on relevant departments (Operational, Technical, Commercial and Financial), with the aim to gain as much experience as possible and have a broad insight into our company. Every month you are being offered a maximum of 2 training days, where real time Boels Case Studies are being discussed. Also you will execute projects within a team where you will report back on to members of the Boels Board of Directors. Even though you operate on an individual level, you are certainly not alone. A Board Member of Boels will monitor, support and guard your development. Also on every department you work, the head of department will monitor if the set learning goals are being reached.
Candidates are being selected based on interviews and presentations. An assessment can be part of the selection procedure.
